01

Business language needs explanation

New customer, net revenue and successful product mean different things across businesses. AI needs sources, formulas and exclusions. Without context, answers can sound plausible while failing to match the business.

02

Define access boundaries

AI permissions should match users and purposes. Early trials should prioritize read-only queries and narrow datasets. Personal information, sensitive records and writes need assessment before expanding access.

03

Test questions with known answers

Prepare reconciled questions including timezones, returns and multiple currencies. Check numbers, explanations, sources and filters. Include insufficient-data questions to test whether the AI acknowledges limits.

04

Keep answers verifiable

Answers should identify sources, refresh times and definitions. Important decisions need responsible review. AI reduces exploration and preparation time; expand automation based on verified results.
